Watching Sharon's funeral on ARD this morning I spotted head wear proving the rumours to be true and making the real reasons for several world events under his leadership clear.

or he could just be showing a bit of respect*

*I'm not suggesting Sharon deserves any respect, but you get the idea.

Its protocol innit!

By that I mean its a a standard matter of practice that out of respect all males keep their heads covered in the synagogue, regardless of their own belief

Rather than a protocol of the meetings of the learned elders of Zion....

Benjamin Netanyahu had nothing in his head, Ninfan, nor did the majority of men at the funeral.

Men should have their heads covered for the religious prayers ie Kaddish said for the deceased. Polite that Blair had his covered even though not Jewish.
However in Israel religion not taken that seriously in terms of observance by mainstream society which would explain the lack of kippah (head covering).

not improper, just unnecessary. you'd have to be a complete moron not to hate a war criminal.

It's a matter of respect as posted above. The Kippah should be worn any time there is a prayer said, some people keep them on others will remove them if a prayer is not being said. I can see Blair who wouldn't know exactly when a prayer was about to be said (all in Hebrew) would find it easier to keep it on.

As for the war criminal any uk politican who might have been leader at the time would have dine the same thing, Brown included. There are a lot of issues and influences behind the scenes. I don't say I agree with the war just that effectively the uk had no choice.

Finally Equador employing that the invasion of Iraq was a Jewish/Israeli influenced event is rather inflammatory

Ecuador has a lot to answer for.

Though I quite liked the song of the same title.

They did give us the Panama hat, however.

Would love to see your reasoning behind this statement.

The UK had a choice! The reality is Tony loved foreign policy and playing his version of interventionism. After Afghanistan he agreed to go after Saddam with GW.

There was a lot of pressure on the UK government to participate in action against Syria but the public and MP's said no so it didn't happen.

Benjamin Netanyahu wore his Kippa for his speech that is clear in the videos. Blair and Biden as protestant and catholic didn't have to. Have you ever seen either of them in traditional Arab dress when visiting Saudi, even when everyone else in the photo is?

I think the UK had a choice on whether to go to war but I'm not sure that Blair did. Michael LevyMichael Levy found the money for Blair's election campaigns whilst himself being paid by ... Google it!

As The "Quartet's" envoy Blair represented the EU and thus me at the funeral. With over 500 milion people to choose from is there no-one less soiled with middle-east blood than Blair to represent us?

So, you admit you were wrong on Netanyahu, we've got movement, good!

Do you think that when they go to a Mosque Blair and Biden keep their shoes on, or do you think that as a matter of respect, they remove them?

Now, you can accept the words of the Rabbinical assembly

Although there is no legal obligation for a non-Jew to wear a kippah, we strongly recommend that out of respect for the congregation a head covering be worn by non-Jewish males when they are in a location where worship or ritual is being conducted, such as, but not limited to, weddings, funerals and baby namings.

Or, you can go on believing that its all some sort of worldwide Jewish conspiracy

Though of course, "they" have got form on that haven't they 🙄

I haven't evoked such a conspiracy anywhere, Ninfan, but now you have: do you think that Tony Blair is the best choice of envoy given that many would look at Blair's past and conclude he has been partial to the point of invasion in Middle-East affairs? And that even if one forgets his past then wearing a religious symbol from one camp is going to displease the other camp.

Whether there is a highly organized global Jewish conspiracy is debatable... what cannot be denied is a blatant bias throughout western government and media in favour of Israeli occupation, despite repeated contravention of international laws.

I wonder how much involvement hat wearing Tony 'Miranda' Blair has in brokering the multi-billion dollar UK-Israeli Arms trade and what profits he enjoys as a result.

I also have concerns how little leverage the western powers applied in the aftermath of the illegal raid of the Gaza Aid Flotilla

Lets not forget Israeli incursion into Palestinian territories:

[img] [/img]

With Armoured Bulldozers:

[img] [/img]

And the building of the barrier, creating a state of apartheid:

[img] [/img]

Definitely nothing to see here...

Because of course Britain doesn't sell any weapons to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Oman or the Yemen...

Quite a minor point when the combined amount of all those sales is barely a quarter of the value of sales to Israel; in fact, sales to Israel are in fact significantly larger than all of the other global sales combined...

Of course he's going to wear a hat for that kind of pocket money

But you're taking a short term snapshot based on one recently agreed cryptographic deal worth Billions that will take years to deliver - over the past twenty odd years the arms deals to the arab nations have outstripped anything to Israel by an order of magnitude.

Now why was it they called Tony Blair Miranda again?
