Lots of things but they don't effect my abilty to come to the conclusion that House is garbage. Hugh Laurie's accent is so bad he's jealous of Jason Statham.

It was so convincing it got him the job. Apparently producer Bryan Singer (director of Superman Returns) was looking through audition tapes and kept seeing foreign actors with dodgy American accents. Eventually he saw Hugh Laurie's and, not knowing who he was, said "See, this is what I want – an American guy."

Ooh, apologies for the thread resurrection but as for Hugh Laurie's accent, I did ask MrsSpw3 about this (she's a Yank). Suffice it to say I eventually had to show her YouTube clips of A Little Fry and Laurie to convince her that he is in fact English. So I think we can't dispense with the line that his US accent is poor.
Just get your revenge by mis-diagnosing them several times until just before the end of the appointment, at which point tell them it'st just the sniffles.
