A couple of years ago I was chatting to him in a back queue. His daughter has arranged a secret party for his 90th birthday (which I knew about).
He told me it was his birthday soon on such and such a date and he was wondering what the wife and daughters were up to, however sadly he couldn't remember the actual date of his birthday. But in all other ways he was as spritely as ever and didn't look his age.
