Can I get a Tom Tom type sat nav app for my andriod phone that doesn't need a network connection .?
I need Europe inc UK ..
FreeNav (might be iOS only) - nearly as good as TomTom and free!
Co pilot app has served me well all across Europe for the last couple of years.
Cheaper than tom Tom too
Navfree for andriod free as well

I use CoPilot. I got it when it was on offer a while back.
As a previous TomTom user I've not found any free solution to be anywhere near in the same league, and if you want Europe also then I doubt there's anything to match it.
Worth looking at the free ones yourself first of course.

I've just downloaded Navfree ....so will try that for a bit and see how it goes .
One the the biggest problems is the lack of tomtom app but they don't seem to be in a hurry to release it.
At £80, I'm in no hurry for them to release it either.
I'd pay that for a dedicated device (and have paid considerably more for one back in pre-smartphone days), but not for an app, no way.
