Watched it last night. It's very play-like, pretty frank in places and I thought a well acted rollercoaster of a couple going through the pandemic.
overall enjoyed it, thought it could have done with another half hour as it does seem to jump a bit quick from the characters presented at the start to the characters at the end.
Thought the monologue about her mum being murdered was excellent.
But a lot of that cut pretty close to the bone for me, although I've not tried to poison the Mrs(yet). Glad it not just us, even if my only other known example is a fictional TV couple.
Didn't last 5 minutes. Acted bickering and talking to camera are not for me.
James McAvoy means I’m out.
I like McAvoy - will check it out. 🙂
I heard it was good but anything about COVID, fictional or otherwise just doesn’t appeal at all to me, I feel like I’m still living it really.
Can’t imagine at what point I’ll want to voluntarily re-visit it, but probably many years or possibly never tbh.
