The first one is an etching by the famous Irish Satanist surgeon Dr. Spang O’Hell
First 2 and the last one look like some kind of extreme scraperboarding. What's the actual question?
Just want to know if they are of note and a bit more about the artist/s.
The chap who gave them to me was a Spitfire/Hurricane pilot and sadly no longer with us. He was into this sort of art and was quite well off. So they could be valuble artworks.
So it would be shame to let them lanquish at the back of the studio in a heap of forgotten art 🙁
It certainly would. That first one is incredible - speaking as a (former) scraperboard "artist".
Always been my artistic downfall, that I can only copy and not use my imagination to create art. There's a disconnect between my imagining brain and my drawing hand. It's so frustrating.
And that's what I got out of picture 1. 😆
Scraperboard artist on Portrait Artist of the Year now. Mentioned a Scandinavian that influenced her, but I couldn't work out the name.
First one is possibly a woodcut, but could be scraper board, as DezB sez; second I’m sure is an etching.
Artist? I haven’t a clue.

Yeah, you and me both! (Heaves big sigh, wonders at what could have been).
