It is Sunday morning and i’m about to make some covfefe in the stovetop with some lovely fresh ground beans, which is what I need on a Sunday to fully wake up. We have an induction hob, so I know that it will get done quickly and the day can start.
Except... there’s no water in the reservoir of the stovetop. So, when the hob is switched on, the base of the maker starts to go orange. Very quickly going orange!
This means I have learned some things. 1. Always check for water. 2. I need to replace some seals on the stovetop and 3. I could probably use the hob as a makeshift forge when society breaks down after brexit.
I still managed to get coffee though and the base of the stovetop is a lovely graduated blue to straw colour.
