Does anyone else suffer from a "crunchy" hand? The tendons appear to click or crunch in my right hand. I now have a nodule under the skin and at the base of my ring finger. I wouldn't normally be bothered but it makes gripping the handlebars uncomfortable on more involving descents. It's not Cat Aids is it?

Ssigns of Dupuytren's contracture?
Two mates have had this and have had surgery on NHS, but it starting to be designated as a non NHS in our area so private is the way forward...

Where are you based? Sounds like trigger finger or early Dupuytrens: hard to tell over the internet!

Thank you. Trigger finger seems like a good fit and so I guess it is worth seeing my GP about it. STW never fails to impress!

Tendonitis? I had it in my right hand/arm. Had a raised bump along the top of my forearm just after the wrist. Rest, ice, ibuprofen. But mainly rest.

trigger finger

Forty six years I’ve had this finger, Dave.

It’s had twelve new knuckles, eighteen new metacarpals.......
