I had to Google it to confirm the knowledge, but that's good.

Humour is such a subjective thing.  I guess you had to have been there.

Though I'm old, I'm not much of an old sweat on here. Just 6 years. So most of the 'classic' threads were before my time. I have trawled through a few of them though. Picolax is quite amusing, but the Lings cars thread where she joined in was gold. Tried to link it but you know, the search function...

Northwind wins it for me. No, not the one where he put a fork in upside down…

The Antonov AN-225 had flown into Manchester I think, and the thread was wondering what it was shipping.

Northwind put forward that someone may have ordered a chain link from CRC.

Floored me.

I didn't realise that Ling was an avid cyclist:

Surfmat?

I actually thought this thread would be the photo of Badger's tubeless incident.

A classic, I’m laughing quietly just thinking about it!

Picolax and the Sudocrem cat were just solid gold - just reading them at the time had me almost unable to breathe from laughing so hard.

Come up with better suggestions

Comparable at least...
"Wife not working" was one of the finest that did not involve greasy felines or people uncontrollably self evacuating.

Edit someone beat me to it.

Any thread that Jamie got involved in, they were always good. Who doesn't love a bit of photo shop.

Badger was amazing.

Yes Nelson Mandela House was the block of flats where Del Boy lived.

What about the one where the poster got pissed at a wedding in Glen Clova, climbed out of his hotel room window for a pee and ended up peeing on a conservatory roof with all the guests looking up at him. Did I imagine it?

I've heard that tale, and variations on the theme, from multiple sources. In one version a jobbie gets stuck in the toilet and in desperation the perpetrator fishes it out and throws it out of the window. It might have happened of course, but I suspect it's an urban myth.
