Bought a present for a friend (female) as she is going to uni. To me it seems a bit ott to wrap it. What's generally the done thing.
Wrap it neatly,
get one of those gift bags
or just don't bother?
I have friends that have told me that its more about the effort you go to wrap than the present it self.
I hate wrapping but John Lewis do it for me if I want it done well.
Pop it in one of those presentation bags you get in WH Smith. Less formal but still denotes 'effort'.
MTFU and chuck the present in the bin!
Wrap it in newspaper?
Gift bag and wrapping!
Show her that you really care!
Your male friends would think it OTT, but women are quite different and I am sure your friend will be delighted.
Tails different girl, but I will mtfu and do it properly.
haha! only pulling your leg! I'd go gift bag as it is quick and it won't look a mess, I'm presuming like many men you couldn't wrap a bag of chips.
I drew a robot on some orange paper then wrapped presents in it for a lady friend. She loved it. Robots are cool.
Stick it down your trousers and tell her it's a lucky dip.
what kind of message are you wanting to send here???
too fancy and she might think you have gone to a lot of effort...you may or may not want that?
