Had dominos last night and the significant other raised that perhaps we should be tipping the driver.
Does anyone actually do this in england? am I in fact scrooge?

Please help me with this moral dilema 😉

If you didn't throw up on him that's good enough.

I'd be worried about your wife and the driver.

used to get tips back home in Oz as a Pizza Boy... usually a 'keep the change' thing, best I ever got was $50 and a joint, they were good chaps those 🙂

Oh, and once had a couple of rather hot ladies flash their norks at me from their balcony as a 'tip' as well, happy days 🙂

Always tip people who give me food. I've worked in pubs/resturants I know what goes on.
If you've seen the film Waiting, then the answer is yes, thats exactly what goes on!

Pizza guy always seems genuinely surprised when I tell him to keep the change. I try n tip 10% ish, maybe less if its an hour, maybe more if its in 10 mins.

Always tell them to keep the change or add a quid on.
Having done similar takeaway delivery jobs when I worked abroad in my teens I always made extra effort to get food to the tippers asap, tight arses went to the back of the queue.. food cold, taken ages to get to you?.. tough shit, put your hand in your pocket and look after the driver 😉

from what I saw while living in England, no, you lot don't tip often.. but I'm Scottish and almost always tip food delivery drivers.

Dominos pizza is awful BTW

Dont understand tipping personally.
Person gets paid by the company to do a task. Then upon completion of said task gets more payment from the person who has already paid them via the company.
Plus its tax evasion!!!! Burn them!!!
When i worked in a fast food shop whilst i was at college, most drivers were claiming benefits!!! And i am not talking legitimate here either. Needless to say i dont tip them lol.

Always tip them, and waiters. And very often, taxi drivers.

Will try ordering that nexrt time. How come they don't do a madras pizza?

Our delivery guy tends to hint by spending ages finding the change.
