I've produced a 3D sculpture of the local landscape which is going on display in the theatre with some other artworks.
I've done a flyer to go with the display but I'm unsure as to whether to put a price on it.
It's a pretty unique piece and I have a price in mind but..
If you saw a piece you were interested in but it didn't have a price would you be likely to follow up on it or just think "no price, must be really expensive"...?
Never done this before so any tips would be great.
Leave the price off, makes it more interesting, you know your price and people can guess. I helped a mate with one and we popped a couple of red dots on things so people thought stuff was selling already 😉
If you want to sell it, put a price on it that you'd be prepared to accept.
If you don't, put a price that you wouldn't be able to turn down.
Depends a bit on what the price is for me, if you're talking £100-500 then I would put a price on it as otherwise people that could afford it might assume it's out of their price range and not even check.
without a pic on this stealth ad how can we guage the sculptures value.😏
Or think “no price, it isn’t for sale”, not sure making purchasing unnecessarily difficult is a great marketing technique;)
If you want to sell it put a price on it.
No price is just silly IMHO
If you want to sell it, tell me how much you wan for it and I’ll either walk away, pay it, or try to haggle you down. We’ll both know where we stand.
Seems like a price may be the way to go.
There are are few options available like different wood for the frame etc so I think I'll put a 'prices from' on there.
Thanks for the input 🙂
How about a small card with something like:
The sculptor / artist can be contact at (whatever), about this model or a personal commission you may have in mind
