That is the question. Whether it is nobler to shrug away the first chill breezes of autumn or to wuss-out and reach for the microfleece.
You want a nice little cardie, you do
Aww need some mittens too?
I've got a ratty old Tchibo fleece pullover that cost £3.99 back in 2005. It has done me well. Time to pull it out and live in it for the season.

Rule 5.
A wise old climbing buddy was very fond of saying "Any fool can be uncomfortable", but your fleece on and enjoy your day.
Having been in the situation of being so cold at the Fairford RIAT one July that I bought a sheepskin flying jacket, and wore it, the coolness at the moment means I'm wearing a little Fox Racing gillet I bought in Chamonix years ago, it's perfect for cool mornings like we're getting now. Evenings I'm wearing either flannel shirts or wool Pendleton check shirts. Fleece is just a bit too warm just yet.
Why suffer? Seems a bit stupid to be cold when you've got the clothing available to avoid it.
Still, if it makes sure feel more manly you go ahead and shiver.
Fleece I can live with, its when the Mrs insists on putting the heating on rather than putting on a jersey...or even fully closing the windows....
Came out for the dog walk this morning. Still too hot for a ride though!
