Aldi and Lidl always seem well stocked. On the preserved fish front - Lidl is one of the few shops that sell pickled anchovies (in the fridge bit, near the crab sticks).
don't panic, i think, I thought there had been period of lower pricing, at least where I am and in morrisons and sainsbury's, so i have assumed there has been a glut. when prices go down people buy them up: hence the shortages, have noticed this, but between deliveries. What times do you get to the shops? Do you want me to post you some tins?!

The amount of uncontrolled fishing in certain parts of the world should there be a surprise? I mean their argument is it's free so fish it to oblivion. The same also happens to other smaller fish.
