rOcKeTdOg I am suprised at you 😉 got subjected to it for the first time the other day. Utter saccharin nonsense but Miss Knightly would get it if she asked nicely.

A Christmas Carol - the one where Albert Finney plays Scrooge
Home Alone
Ghostbusters
Lampoons

Pretty much any Christmas film except Love Actually

If it's got to be about xmas, then the original Miracle on 34th Street or A Christmas Carol with Alistair Sim.

If it's any film at xmas, then it's just my favourite film which is Blade Runner or the original Star Wars.

Great Escape, Wizard of Oz, Jason and the Argonaughts, Bad Santa, A Muppet Christmas Carol, Lord of the Rings (because my wife and I have always set aside a day over Christmas to watch them all back to back).

got the muppets christmas carol on dvd for the kids the other day. hadn't seen it for years

its great - but the ghost of christmas past is weird/ creepy (not sure she is meant top be, just poor old school cgi). I don't understand why they didn't just use a muppet?

coyote - good choice on batman returns, it's a great film and I forgot it was set at xmas

groundhog day I really like - not really an xmas film but snowey and "festive"

NOOOOOO NOT POLAR EXPRESS

each to their own but I hate that kind of animation using "real actors" to record the motion - something creepy about it

for the same reason I will not watch that new version of a Christmas Carol

Scrooged!

And a +1 from me for A Nightmare Before Christmas too. Looking forward to my daughters being a bit older (just 6 months this Christmas)and sitting down to watch it with them (yes, I have already thought about it). 🙂

Nightmare!

Has anyone heard "Nightmare Revisited"? It's cover versions of the entire soundtrack.
