I'm going to be tiling the kitchen
I've got some of these, which have a slightly wobbly edge and a handmade look to them. They are all slightly different.
Doing a splashback behind the hob up to the extractor hood, and around the worktops I'm going to put a row or two as an upstand (not sure if that's the right word)
I don't know how to edge them. I hate those pvc edging strips, they look cheap. I know there are metal versions, but I'm thinking it may look too modern with a hand made tile.
They are fairly thick tiles
Any other ideas?
Ask the supplier if they do a ready 'edged' version.
It's been a while since I bought tiles, but I seem to remember if you can get an RE version, that has one rounded/glazed edge and REX has two. Looks way nicer than the trim strips IMHO, but bumps up the cost a bit.
