Hi,
I have tickets for a gig on Friday at an O2 Academy venue and the only way that you can use the tickets is via the O2 Academy app.
Within this you are supposed to be able to log in to your Ticketmast account to link the tickets.
When I try this I get a message as shown below:
Your Browsing Activity Has Been Paused
We've detected unusual behavior on either your network or your browser.
To resolve this:
Sign in to your account if you haven't already
Change your Wi-Fi or cellular network
Switch devices or move to a different location if possible
I have tried all these steps and cannot login from the app or directly via the Ticketmaster web site.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Also if anyone has a Ticketmaster account please could you try logging in to confirm the site is actually working.
Thanks!
Ticketmaster App is working for me. I have no active events at the minute though but can see past events.
Thanks MM. I have tried five different networks and three different devices and get the same block everywhere.
I had similar issues to you last year with Ticketbastards
If I recall correctly I fixed it by resetting my password
I had the exact same thing with the "suspicious browsing activity", they did a reset at their end, apparently it's a known issue. They do supposedly have a backup system for the venues too in the event of site issues or similiar but I've never seen it used, obviously it doesn't make sense to trust ticketmaster to do anything sensibly.
If the issue can’t be resolved, the people on the actual box office at the venue can print a paper ticket - I’ve had to do it a couple of times, but normally it works just fine. Part of the problem is O2 have a variety of different apps, and buying tickets via someone like See Tickets, Gigantic or Ticketmaster then having to ‘see’ the ticket in an O2 app just overcomplicates the system, as does their insistence on waiting until five days before the concert before you can access your tickets.
Most other venues attatch the e-ticket to the email confirmation they send straight away, so you know exactly where you are.
It is, as you’ve quite rightly noted, a royal pain in the ass!
Ooh, sweet. This sounds like yet another great reason to never use scummy Ticketmaster! Cheers 😀
