Been diagnosed with this. Anyone here had it and has it impacted your riding at all?

Had it in a thigh vein that was varicose (superficial thrombophlebitis), eventually had the vein removed, more because it was ugly than causing any problems. No real affect on cycling.

Assuming that it’s being treated (fragmin or such like), doesn't migrate, and not linked to deeper vein thrombosis, I would think you'll be fine for cycling.

Hmmm , doctor put me on antibios and anti-inflammatories. But wants to see me again next week after a scan yesterday, so maybe some other treatment/diagnosis is imminent. (Deep vein is fine which is good.)

Thanks for the info. Not sure I like the idea of having veins pulled out…
