Anyone else suffering from a plague of them, or is this personal?
Thousands of the little buggers appeared yesterday afternoon, disappeared in the evening and now seem to be back again.
Ya, got plenty of them in me kitchen including the other pantry bugs. I exterminate them with my thumb whenever I see them.
(Edit: oh they are called storm bugs ... 😯 ... I see yes, it's positive it's them and only appeared since summer here in GeordieLand)
They have lived in my kitchen for the last few years - pantry bugs.
No big deal to me as I am rather used to living with harmless bugs. I am also rather used to bugs as I used to live in the equatorial far east where bugs are more aggressive then these lots.
Oh ya ... please make sure you cover all your stuff in air-tight container as they will live and eat through them. They love flour.
To test if your food are toxic or not just watch this little buggers. If they like it chances are your food are not toxic otherwise they would not go near it. Yes, I have certain kind of biscuits that these little buggers would not even go near it even if I leave it for them ... 😆
Edit: some flies just managed to lay eggs somewhere and I have been killing a lot of flies recently ... I don't like flies. 😯

Maggots, zombie maggots. You can kill flies but not zombie maggots.

True, true ...
If only I can find the maggots so I can destroy them before letting them turn into flies but so far none to be seen ... 😯
I've seen a few thunderflies or thunderbugs about, but not as many as some years. It might be a bit early, though; I'm sure they usually start to show up around August/September in large numbers.
I take it a thrip is not a halfhearted thrap then ?
