I'm not the most religious of people but is a very special place with great significance to the locals. Built by Italian Prisoners of War, the chapel was twice restored by the architect and main builder Domenico Chiocchetti who also carved an donated the plaques. the chapel stands on the now almost totally deserted island of Lamb Holm, connected to the adjoining islands by causeways build by those Italian PoWs. Still in use as a church, the chapel is left open so anyone can check it out, and it really is worth checking out. And some mindless scum just sees it as an opportunity to help themselves.
