Ta CFH! Good luck to Jered, Kerley and Carney. Junior is trying to break into the techno music scene, he might find inspiration in the article. It's a bit rock and roll swindle but like the Sex Pistols the band was clearly viable. Put four musicians in a room to rehearse for months and if there's a weak link they won't last long. The original Pistols line up were all proficient whatever the papers said, Jones in partcular was/is a fine guitarist who produced genius riffs, the Pretty Vacant riff is the best riff ever that doesn't require moving the fingers of the left hand, and a pretty good riff whatever the criteria.

The only ingredient that was missing from Jered's con was ticket buyers. Filling halls with a real life fan base is the hard part. Perhaps he's achieved that potental now but he needs a band and venue to play to find out.

I think you're taking altogether the wrong message from this story.

The only ingredient that was missing from Jered’s con was ticket buyers.

Pretty shit con if you ask me.

the guy took a lot of money

That’s not how I read it.

The guy seemed to spend a lot of his own money paying to fly across the Atlantic to play to empty halls.

Its not the first time this has happened in the music world. Remember Sandi Thom webcasting to millions from her front room?
That same scam got offered to a couple of other artists before her team snapped at it. Awful woman.
