Question:
Do TdF riders feel greater pain than we joe bloggs but are conditioned to block it OR do they feel the same pain as us but at higher thresholds?

Village fete today was part of the centenary celebrations at the Three Kings pub in Hanley Castle. 100 years in the same family. And very little has changed in that time. Still £2.20-2.40 a pint too.

pub chatter in this thread while the TdF TT is on...

not for sale 🙁

Not Morris Dancers but a lady dance troupe with bells and sticks, so "morris dancing" of sorts,
Also two steam tractors - one was an old docklands lorry that used to work out of Southwark. Salvaged in the 70s. Lovely smell of coal and steam.

Specially selected for SEA?

(There's no Sea in the picture...)

Is SEA a chain of shops or what?

Ah, right. Only I was asking 'cause I know that the moderator for the BNP forum said he was going to be spending today "morris dancing".

I just wondered what a fat nazi, morris dancing, looked like.

I suspect you're right. Although I'm surprised that he has time to spend the whole day morris dancing.

You'd think he's stay at home and just do the Gestapo dance between moderating posts.

Anyone know anything about 'CWS' (Cooperative Wholesale Society) bikes from around the 1950s? Found a road bike called a Gipsy Moth when starting to clear out my grandparents' house+garage

I know there are other sites/forums might be more relevant to ask but seeing as we've got a couple of random bikes on this thread.

No pics yet as it was precariously hanging from the roof and blocked in by lots of clutter
