Anyone else find the new 2 grey then 1 white post backgrounds slightly irritating?

2 posts have the grey background and then 1 has white, then 2 grey 1 white etc. Makes it harder to scan.

Or am I the only one seeing this??

Hmm - just tried Chrome instead of Edge - works fine in Chrome... 🙄

Honestly, browser incompatibility in this day and age should be illegal! Edge is based on Chromium too.

Dark grey / lighter grey / dark grey / lighter grey.

I'm not seeing any with a white background.

I get two and one also, does seem a bit weird, dunno why it's not alternate. Can't say it bothers me so much to post about it though, oh wait.....

Edit: it seems to be changing, at the start of this thread it was two grey one white, then after those screen shots it goes to one grey one white! My post is in white.

Just tried an incognito window in Chrome and the issue appears in Chrome that way too. Using InPrivate window in Edge still has the issue. Must be cookie related and probably related to the adverts appearing even though one is logged in. 🤷‍♂️

Adjacent posts having the same background colour occurs in dark mode as well. Sometimes, but but not all the time. Changes are afoot, let ‘em settle down.

Firefox, logged in, alternating. Firefox private window, sometimes two together. Logged out, and the adverts split the posts with the same background.

So I conclude that it's alternating, but includes adverts, and if there are no adverts, some browsers maintain the colours and others re-render them.

Yeah, I’m getting two dark grey one light, using Brave as my browser. I’m a subscriber so I don’t get adverts, so as someone said it may be the lack of ads causing two grey posts to glom together.

STW has a new advert delivery system. I'd presume it's related to that.

Tedious whining and an explanation from Mark, yesterday.
