Morning all

its not a very exciting post but I'm looking for a tent to take on a couple of riding breaks that I can keep the bike in overnight. I have a family tent which is a pig to out up on your own so was thinking of say a simple 4 man dome tent to use instead, something like a Gelert Rocky 4.

Alternatively would I be better off keeping the bike locked up in the car overnight?

Thanks all

Tarp plus bivvy, use the bike as part of the Tarp structure. Way more fun.

This would be for a drive to Wales for an overnighter type trip. I have kit to bivvy with but thats not what I'm looking to do.

Depends if you are going to be camping near somewhere to shelter in?

My general rules would be bike in the car unless I was sleeping in the tent and only really if the bike was clean.

in tent terms I'd suggest a porch design - to let you keep wet stuff etc outside of the sleeping area, use for cooking in wet etc and yes bike in car, I suspect with a big enough porch you could wheels off it if you really wanted
