I won't be paying ~£180 for one so found this on evil bay, What would I need to add to make this viable as a stove top fan?
Heat sink but am I missing anything else? Peltier pump?

What??

EDIT aah, this

HAHAH - oh man what a way to earn a few quid!

Any good HSF would work. Actually, copper is cute and steampunk, but it's not as good at dumping heat as ally.

I tried this and failed, good luck. It span but then I think it overheated.... I just wired a peltier straight to the fan.

Pretty things those copper fins! My original zalman flower (circa1998) has been my desktop card holder since i tore appart the computer it once lived in.. if only I'd had the foresight to sell them as art!
In the spirit of upcycling, my buddy uses the speed controlled fan to mix his brewing yeast
