The fact that he did not have a better camera filled him with egret.
I don't think that he was filled with egrets, if anything there was only a little egret.

The couple outside Giant's Seat Garden Centre one warm summer evening a couple of years back. I can only assume that he had developed a leak as she appeared to be blowing him back up.
He was inflated enough to manage a cheery wave as we rode past though.
This would have made a lovely composition if I'd had a camera.

Not seen any egrets when out riding but have seen red throated divers on the Leeds-Liverpool canal. I've also seen them on the river Kent when walking on the bank through Kendal a couple of weeks ago.

I saw a couple of Kingfishers not easy to spot in Scotland maybe a common sight South of UK, too hard to get a decent photo
