My 12 year old has had one since christmas. No complaints at all, it's not the most flash phone in the world but it does the job ok.

Nothing "wrong" with it but be prepared for moaning*

*if she's anything like my daughters who moans regularly about her Moto G

I'd avoid - not that I've tried this phone in particular, but I gave my 11 year old a Nokia 635 at christmas, and disaster struck when we discovered it didn't have a front camera - NO SELFIES. This is apparently a critical feature for at least some 11 year old girls.

The C1 doesn't have one either.

For £20 I have given it a go , seems better spec than my old Sony apart from the camera. If she is not happy I can always have it 🙂

Cheers for comments

I was robbed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I paid £25 for mine in Asda.

I use mine as a 'ride phone', only family and close friends have the number. It takes pictures, does Strava and the battery life seems reasonable. Personally I don't see the need to spend more.
