Whilst riding down a country lane today we were presented with this :-(.

Just sad :-(... No hope.

Yep!

Right in the middle of the highway, probably last night 🙁

We've seen some brazen fly tipping around here. A lay by within sight of Kirkcaldy's 30 speed limit sign had a tipper load of mono block paving and other debris dumped. Our singletrack road had a load of roofing tiles dumped across it, and recently a load of tyres were dumped bang in the middle of the road.

The guys doing this have neither a care for the law nor the environment. It can't help that our council run recycling centres are now closing one day a week. I doubt that would worry the serial fly tipper, but our feeling is that when someone rocks up to the recycling centre with a car or van load of rubbish and finds it closed, they are going to want to get rid of it asap,

I can't help but think that a large portion of this come from facebook buy and sell groups wanting cheap rubbish removal from a 'man with a van'.

There was a shed and garden rubbish strewn across half of a 60mph unclassified road near me recently and loads of stuff tipped in ditches.

I had a more pleasant sight down the backlane I drove home on... tiniest fox cub standing in the middle of the road. Thought it was a rat until I got close and it sauntered to  the grass verge. Sweetest little chap I've ever seen.

Was pleasant 🙂
