Like a number of others I’ve seen problems accessing ther site on Safari on iOS 16. The same thing happens with some other sites and I’ve seen the suggestion that turning off “Limit IP Tracking” in the WiFi settings improves speed. That seems to be the case, but I’d prefer not to reduce my protection. I’m wondering if anyone else has found another solution, if this solution works for you, and what do the problem sites have in common?

I have than option turned ON (assuming you’re talking about “hide IP address from trackers”)
I don’t normally use Safari, I use Brave instead, but I’ve just opened the forum in Safari, on the latest version of iOS 16 on my iPad, and I’m not noticing anything out of the ordinary. I use various protections, including a VPN, oh, and I have DuckDuckGo set as search.

If you're on iOS mobile then it's the same browser engine under the hood regardless of what the logo in the corner says. Apple don't allow anything else.
If you have a lot of tabs open and some of those are running STW then closing all of them (and maybe clearing history?) can help.
Edit - hold down the tab button (bottom right) to close all tabs
Thanks all. I’ve done all the obvious things and followed tips on various sites (as per my op) but it doesn’t help. STW is worst affected but quite a few sites behave the same. Must be some weird thing with my configuration. Hopefully it’ll sort itself after the next iOS update, but I’ll be using Chrome in the meantime.
