I got my Hub mug on my last visit to the old Hub after years of post ride and post dig visits... Then, I broke it just before christmas. It's just a mug, right? Not even massively sentimentally valuable, I wasn't the biggest Hub lover, I like that the new place has a roof. But it's not been the best year and it was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back (I literally didn't cry when my mum died in November but I did when I broke this stupid bloody mug.
So I posted a wanted ad in the classifieds, and Beagle came through out of nowhere and wouldn't even accept a penny for it. Thank you so much Beagle!

Aah nice. Well played Beagle.
Love these sort of threads.
Sorry to hear about your Mum...
Weird how mugs become so important isn’t it?
👍
Epoxy will sort the old one out if you have all the pieces.
or you can weld it back together.....
This place is literally full of mugs.

Remember the OP was the man who managed to stick his forks on the wrong way round.. (not back to front..actually upside down..)😂
A mug may be beyond him..😉
Good man Beagle.
The mug is the right way up at least!
Actually might do that "repair it with a different colour" bullshit, I quite like that.

Depends. What do you think the people reading this thread are doing right now?

What do you think beagle used the mug for? He didn’t have a “special” beaker!
This place is pretty good I agree. The OP is part of that too.

I once smashed a mug - it had a primary coloured, very simple design of a golf scene on it. I was distraught and cried way more than I should have done. Sticks out in my mind, I just couldn't accept that I'd brought a perfectly good mug's useful life to an end. I was about 6 at the time but live in fear of smashing mugs since.
My SO still wears her t-shirt with that design on. I didn't realise it was available on a mug.
