Is it a wind-up? Apparently it is a pineapple plant that releases oxygen and helps reduces snoring. I'm thinking it is a wind-up but...my snoring has gotten worse and fancy giving it a try if it is true. Plants look better in a room than wearing bizarre stuff round the head.

Don't most plants do this?

my snoring has gotten worse

I find mine is worse when I drink to much. When I don't drink/just have a couple I don't snore.

No, I don't have a pineapple plant.

All. But they have to photosynthesize to do it so you'll need to sleep with the curtains open in daylight.

All plants do, yes, I'm assuming this is doing something specific.
Sounds like it is mince, so that saves me looking an exit in front of real people (asking a question on a public forum where folk don't know me is fine).

Only during the day. Photosynthesis produces oxygen, but at night when there is not enough light, plants are aerobic the same as animals IIRC
