Saw a few of these being used on my recent bike tour, very cool and so handy. I just jack knifed the BOB but saw a few people using them.

it's not 'very cool' at all. it's not 'handy' either. it is mental though.

When you have a fully laden bike with nothing to lean it against then it is both "cool" and "handy" but hey what do I know. 🙂

A shooting stick for a bike..............how quaint.

Must put it on my 'what I want for Christmas' list.

When do you ever not have somewhere to stand your bike?

Fields have fences/hedges. Beaches have edges. And whats wrong with lying it down?

It might get dirty - and then that would get onto your Rapha shorts?

What about for 'look at my pimped out niche as **** SS 29er' threads where the bike magically stands up on its own in the centre of the picture?

And whats wrong with lying it down?

I find that when I'm ready go and I give my usual hearty "Hi-yo, Silver! Away!" it kinda spoils it if I have to immediately bend down grunting whilst I lift my bike up.

The "Click-Stand" will allow me to jump straight onto the saddle and immediately pedal whilst slapping the rear wheel with my stick.

Which sounds pretty cool to me.

Hmmmm,

The ad says it's a portable kick stand. Can you actually kick it into place. If you could then it might be cool.

And when I say kick, I mean kung-fu style, not some lame foot stab that Russell Harty might have used to encourage his favourite cat to move.

Personally - it looks a little camp. Camp in the way that a Nazi officer would enjoy it's folding uselessness.

Surely one would just have the butler hold it up.

I give him the day off when out on the bike. The butler is better for silver service in the carpark.
