When Dmitry Argarkov was sent a letter offering him a credit card, he found the rates not to his liking. But he didn't throw the contract away or shred it. Instead, the 42-year-old from Voronezh, Russia, scanned it into his computer, altered the terms and sent it back to Tinkoff Credit Systems.
Mr Argarkov's version of the contract contained a 0pc interest rate, no fees and no credit limit. Every time the bank failed to comply with the rules, he would fine them 3m rubles (£58,716). If Tinkoff tried to cancel the contract, it would have to pay him 6m rubles.....[continued]
Excellent 🙂
it'll be interesting to see the Court's decision
I wouldn't want to tweek the whiskers of the powers that be in Russia, he is liable to end up with a hole where his brain should be.
I doubt he'll be eating sushi in Piccadilly any time soon....
Yeah, you just have to listen to Ambridge Extra.. They've done Matt up like a kipper 🙂

Tinkoff bunch of twunts for unpleasant tweets during the TDF this year..
[i]The first sign of cracks became clear when Tinkov posted a series of bizarre and sometimes offensive tweets during the Tour de France. Some were sexist, racist and homophobic in nature; in one message, he said that he’d consider switching his money into a women’s team instead.
“Fresca [fresh] idea: to sponsor women's cycling team, definitely win all for this budget, plus you can chose only long legs sluts into the team :-)” he wrote on July 15th.
When that message was challenged by a Twitter reader, Tinkov responded by questioning his sexual orientation.
Sounds like fraud.

Not a bunch of... a singular person. Oleg is a loose cannon but he does have a valid point about Contador
Why is it fraud ? he sent a changed contract to the bank and they accepted it, if they thought it was unreasonable they should have rejected it.
He only ran up a £300 odd debt, so not as if he abused it to badly
Why is it fraud ?
I may be wrong but it's not his document to change, or possibly even copy.
i'm still glad he did it. I used to just send them back in the accompanying SOE but recently they've made the envelopes smaller and won't fit. Bastards. 😆
It is a contract, you can change whatever you want, if they accept your changed terms they have to stick with them
