Not expressing ones opinion, on the internet, when drunk.

And knowing if I should have put an apostrophe somewhere in ones.

Changing strings on a double locking trem. How I do it:

First principle: 1 at a time!

Start with the low E.

String out:
Undo the bolt at the nut and take the locking block off
Unwind the tuner peg
Undo the long bolt at the bridge that is holding the string in
Take the string off
Unwind the fine tuner all the way, then back in two full turns

String in:
Cut the ball end off with pliers
Put that end in the bridge
Tighten up the bridge bolt/clamp at the back
String guitar as normal
Tune up as normal, remembering to stretch the string

Do the same for the A string
Then lock those two strings using the locking part at the nut.

Once you've done them all, take all the nut locking parts off and play the guitar for the while - do some bends, give them trem a wee wiggle etc.
Keep tuning using the tuning pegs

Once the guitar has settled down, lock all the strings at the nut.
Now you just adjust using the fine tuning nuts on the bridge

Always used to until I looked it up on youtube. The answer is to run the little cloth that comes with it under the tap, then use it to wipe down the screen. Peel side 1 from the screen protector, run it under the tap too and shake most of the water off. Now, both the screen and the protector have lots of tiny tiny beads of water on them. Apply the screen protector as normal, you will get a few 'bubbles' under it but they are water filled and are 1000x easier to remove than air bubbles, you just rub a finger over them and push them to the edge of the screen. Any stubborn ones will just evaporate eventually (the plastic must be ever so slightly permeable or something).

Putting a duvet cover on.

Get inside. It's no easier than doing it conventionally but it's a great way to spend half an hour.

Putting a duvet cover on.

Just grow longer arms. 6'6" and the king of the fast duvet cover swap.

But from there all mastery of soft furnishings ends. I can't make anything fabric related - curtains, table cloths, bedding look half way presentable.

Walking past a pie shop.
Shout and swear at the telly constantly during Question Time, or during any United game where Fellaini is on the pitch
Not stopping for another pint. Oh go on then…..

yourguitarhero appreciate the guide.my problem is locking the strings at the bridge end.

i either don't lock them tight enough (they come out when tuning up),or i lock them too tight the high strings (and they snap when tuning up).

don't know if the zr trem system is at fault (probably not),but more than likely it's my incompetence 😳

i check that the string is tight in the bridge groove by pulling it,it seems fine, tune up and the above happens 😳

edit even though i'm having issues with the guitar,i still would keep it (as i do like playing it) don't use the whammy much tbh.

There's probably something wrong with your saddles then - little burrs or something?

Try going over them with a needle file and/or rubbing a pencil on so you get graphite lube. I just had to do that for a saddle on my Floyd Rose.

Putting a duvet cover on.

Turn it inside-out.

Put your arms inside, grab the far corners.

Grab the corners of the duvet, shake the cover down.

Simples.
