We will need to wait several hours in Malaga airport for a transfer.
We'll have bike bags with us.
I don't think there's a left luggage at the airport.
Any suggestions for anything to do?
Slip on a dress and try and earn a few Euros?
Ole!

We left our bikes and bags with parking mediterraneo. They gave us a lift to and from the terminal and back to all kit for 4 people cost €10. Return train into Malaga was cheap.
Well worth trying to ditch the bikes. Malaga is a fantastic city and well worth a visit. Forget any preconceptions you may have about the Costa, Malaga is relativly unspoilt and very much a locals city. Beautiful cathedral, Alcazaba is amazing, Picasso museum if that is your thing or otherwise just sit and have a big G&T in the harbour.
Taxi to nearest beach & sun bathe on it.
Cross the road and people watch the expat characters emerging for pints of shit lager at 10am....
If Marco is dropping you off ,if you tip him,he may drop you off at the "industrial" area roundabouts;-)

Do they have a left luggage there or did you just leave your stuff with some guys in a carpark. 😯
I'm not sure Mrs stu is that keen on industrial roundabout based entertainment. 😆

I have no more suggestions for making a few bob while you're waiting...
Just a thought 🙂
We are just 20 minutes from the airport we´ll collect you and have you on the trails just an hour after arrival.
Excellent singletrack rides with plenty of bus uplift during the day & lively après-bike on the coast at night.

They took it and put it behind the office but to all intents and purposes it was left in the garage. No bag was touched and the camera that was left on top of one was still there.
I'll give that a miss I think alan...
Anyone got anything to add?
Hola Stu - if you can dump the bikes somewhere safe, just jump on a train to the city. We were there last week (in the hills now) and it's a fine city to kill a short time in. Stunning cathedral, good atmosphere, delicious and cheap seafood tapas. Have a good trip whatever you're up to.
Cheers Will.
Hope you're having a good time too.
I think the problem is going to be finding somewhere to put the bikes. 😕
Ooops! Wrong thread. 😳
Just down t'road in Orgiva for the week. Sans bike, but still going offroad on...
a horse.
All good ta, Stu. Busy doing bugger all in a tiny village called Archez around an hour from Malaga. Very relaxing. Had a week with Bike Verbier last month - first time there in few years but it was as amazing as always.
Good luck with your bikes etc - have a great time in Spain.
on...
a horse.
Please tell me you're staying at the hotel bastardos !
Soft bogroll all round... 😆

we visited orgiva a few weeks ago when we stayed down on the coast near there. wasnt at all what i was expecting, (which was a whitewashed, pretty farming village). found it noisier and scruffier than expected. seemed to be a focal point for crusties to hang out, proper ones walking barefoot with ickle dogs and driving graffiti'ed up campers. some of those were pretty cool.
you staying in orgiva itself woppit, or one of the other villages a bit further up? lovely part of the country isnt it, stunning scenery.
Up in the barrio just north of town in a small house I'm hoping to buy, from friends who live next door to it...
lovely. holiday home or you gonna live out there?
Live. In retirement.
ah nice one. iz jealous!
