Power of images & all that - once seen, cannot be unseen...

Every press photo I've seen of Theresa May recently, she's been wearing a chain big enough to moor up a warship....

Now, I know I've read too many military history books, but the symbology that jumps out to me is:

"Kettenhund"

(Chain Dog - Nazi Military Police 🙁 )

It'll be some PR genius idea to symbolise strength & stability

Or possibly to symbolise her being held hostage by her own party,in a job she hates?

Just google image search "Theresa May" if you want to see her not wearing a big chain, and avoid making posts that strenuously link a tory with the nazis.
HTH.

first cab off the google image rank [img] [/img]

and it's easier to equate tories with nazis than to distance them from nazis, because they're nazis.

The £350 million we give to the NHS every week could be spent on brexit. The chains are symbol that she will freeze in hell with Maggie Thatcher.. (obviously the furnaces have already been shut down and sold off..)

Not sure the google images results report by most recent???

Try Google News instead... been a very obvious accoutrement since the GE was called - clearly some sort of style / image guru, but very dubious symbology even if you dismiss the feldgendarmerie connotations

I've always thought that people who wear brash jewellery are insecure in some way, be it a watch or in Theresa's case, a motorcycle chain around the neck.

Obviously over compensation for something. Or maybe symbolic as she's basically a slave?

Does anyone know her opinion about getting on planes?

I'm sure when she looks at Boris she does indeed pity the fool

The first thing that came to mind on seeing May's name next to the word chains was Jacob Marley.

"I wear the chain I forged in life," replied the Ghost. "I made it link by link, and yard by yard; I girded it on of my own free-will, and of my own free-will I wore it. Is its pattern strange to you?"

Very nearly satire.

Perhaps, on the basis of your insight, I can confidently conclude that you are a "Green" voter?

I am, after all, psychic...

It's only a matter of time before she goes full Ghost Rider.

She's sold her soul to Satan, bought some leather trousers, acquired the chains and is working hard on the "deathly skull" look.

If she buys a moped next, you'll know what's coming.

Yeah, but what sort of vehicle does she drive to the trail centre?

The only true way to really get the measure of a person.

It covers up the join where her head is connected to her body. She's like a multi tool PM with interchangeable heads, like Wurzel Gummidge.

Fatcha had her handbags and signature hair, I guess TM needs the decorative baubles to prove that she's not a robot, devoid of all imagination and creative thought.

I take great offence at the frankly ridiculous suggestion that the Conservative Party is comprised of Nazi sympathisers.

Some of them aren't Nazis.

Does beg the question, why are they in the Conservative party though....

Always quite liked this one, he spoke out and voted against the government's horrific treatment of child refugees:

Why not ask your old pal tiresomebore?

Looks like a new suit. Very smart but should have cut the label off. Purple tie for Lent too...amazing
Mr Corbyn doesnt wear a tie most of the time,

Indeed, someone really should have a word. At least french socialists maintain a sense of style.

Perhaps now that he does his top button up and wears a tie.
