I've no problem with the 138mph in the 60mph, that's just speeding - but 100mph in a 30mph is just reckless, they should have the book thrown at them.

First time I've seen complaining about somebody doing 100 in a 30 described as knicker twisting, but hey-ho if you don't see anything wrong with that, that's up to you I guess.

Yeah tend to agree, 138mph on a bike in a NSL is a ban and a hefty fine.

100mph in a 30mph is a short stretch at her majesties pleasure.

Not record breaking though, bloke got done doing 166mph on the Dolphington straight couple of years ago, got 9months

Given it was about 2 pm and involved massively excessive speeds which endanger all other road users I hope they do time. Sad that so many think this is funny or cool. What if they had nicked the bikes stil cool. If you want to do these sort of speeds go to a track. Roads are shared spaces with rules to keep us all safe.

+1 Personally I hope that when I'm 70 I'll be getting my thrills in ways which are only dangerous for me.

I have some question...

What does their age have to do with it? You can be a bell-end at any age.

Are their names made up?

How did the McPhee bloke get his fork lift truck up to 100mph?

I am local, the 138mph bit he was clocked is a 1.5/2 mile straight on a twisty road... With a major junction on the straight that people turn out of without looking(I speak from experience)The whole road would also be very busy at that time on a Sunday as it is the main connection between the motorway and the coast. I used to drive that road every day to work and changed my route because I was always coming round a corner and some ****er was on my side of the road. The 100 in a 30 stretch has cars parked at both sides of the road and is occasionaly residential for parts of it.They would be using that a rat run to get away from the police. As a lapsed biker, that is stupid especially as at 70 time IS running out and you don't want to waste it in a 12x10 cell with 3 other men.

Is the bloke related to Ryan Farquhar? Bloke I worked for as a teenager got done at over 140 on his Fireblade-he was nearly 60 at the time.

His mate was a forklift truck driver, not driving a forklift.
