To chill out properly takes time, so you need the whole album.
So, aphex twin, selected ambient works, and moon safari by air.
Edit, and royskop as well.

So many to chose from... whole albums aside (which is what you really need), my top three might be:
Global Communication 12:18
Susumu Yokota Kodomatchi
Slowdive Country Rain

Far too many to narrow it down to one, but right now it's this....

Warning, the video contains a gimp, oral fisting and sideboob.

Haven't been listening to Neurosis very long, saw a band call A Storm of Light support Converge, investigating them the next morning wiki said the frontman was the visual artist for Neurosis so I followed the trail.

Air Moon Safari
Pink floyd Echoes or (The whole of) WYWH
J.J. Cale Travelogue ( if I need to stay awake)

Got to be John Cage - 4'33" for me...

Pure bliss!

Really needs a proper listening room and a top notch HiFi to really appreciate it though... It's one track I will never ever tire of though! 😉

Right, I have two choices.

1 converge, concubine. Sounds like someone smashing your face in with 20 sledgehammers. But I've listened to it so much its reassuring.

Next is Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Carry on. Makes me feel like the past 30 years aint happened, and Im a content hippy

For an album, Laser Guided Melodies by Spiritualized has got to be up there.
For a single track, Anenome by Brian Jonestown Massacre gets my vote.

We acknowledge Kruder & Dorfmeister and all associated under the GStone umbrella. To many good times to list them all but nostalgically popping a few in here:
Peace Orchestra from 1999.
G stone book.
Tosca Suzuki.
Tosca, different tastes of Honey
And on quite a different tip, Tosca Dehli9 ( for the most paired down chill out you could ask for on a classical tip )

Lastly a step away from K& D, but a lovely chilled blast from my past... ( out of Hamburg, free form )

Deep Dive Corp, support your local grooves.

+1 for Tosca - Suzuki
Synkro - Look at Yourself
Thievery Corporation - State of the Union
(My absolute favourite) Lovers Lane - Island Memories
Digby Jones - Under the Sea
Edit... Art of Noise - Moments in Love

Impossible to pick one track, but I still love Underworld's remix of Mental Generation Cafe del Mar... can't believe this came out nigh on 20 years ago. It was part of the soundtrack to my A-Levels. 😯

Favourite albums would include:

Global Communication 76:14
Biosphere Substrata
Stars of the Lid and their refinement of the decline

There's a bunch of excellent mixes available at http://theasc.blogspot.co.uk/p/deep-space-mix-series.html

Here, here bike buoy, here, here. 8)

Went through a stage of playing the k&d sessions mixes and the set they did on 'djkicks' series and went on some sublime mind-trips. Awesome, awesome music. "Going under and I can't turn round".... 😉

Some real good music being posted, what's more, I've not heard most of it! Bring it on.
