If you had the time and the money what would your restoration project be?

What glorious delights have fallen into ruin and sadden you everytime you see it and would make the world a better place if restored to their original magnificence.

Here's mine..... Cambusnethan Priory. Used to play in the woods surrounding it as a skinny kid.
Still play in the woods surrounding it as big fat grown up.

How it looked in Oldy Timey days gone by...

Would require a few quid spending on it.

Would take a good few million, and permission from English Heritage

Broomhead Hall, just outside Sheffield.[img] [/img]
Demolished in 1980, sadly.

My aunt was housekeeper at the lodge for years after the Hall fell into disrepair.
Sneaking off and exploring the place as kid earned me a few hidings.
Well worth it though, still dream about the place now and then.

Any of the numerous art-deco cinemas near me in the West of Scotland, most of them lying empty, or turned to something gaudy.

Just back from the opening night - fan-bloody-tastic. Such an amazing building and such a nice way to see it - what the photos of the buildings never really manage to capture is their ability to make concrete seemingly levitate.
