My dog has peed himself because he's scared of the thunder!

Just looked at the radar.. I need to get the grass cut pronto.

The moral of the story is, beware of laying new lawn then fertilising it. Cos when it takes off you'll be mowing it every few hours (at least that's what it feels like)

A massive flash of lightning and a deafening clap of thunder, directly above us just tripped all our leccy out. We're out riding in a couple of hours. EEK!

Can I have your freezer full of pies, if you get taken out by Mother Nature, Binners?

There's a storm outside, and the gap between crack and thunder
Crack and thunder, is closing in, is closing in
The rain floods gutters, and makes a great sound on the concrete
On a flat roof, there's a [s]boy[/s] binners leaning against the wall of rain
[s]Aerial[/s] bicycle held high, calling "come on thunder, come on thunder"

Sometimes, when I look deep in your eyes, I swear I can see your soul

jekkyl is right about this 😀

It's a monsoon and the rain lifts lids off cars
Spinning buses like toys, stripping them to chrome
Across the bay, the waves are turning into something else
Picking up fishing boats and spewing them on the shore

Jamie - they're all yours. If I do get hit by lightning though, due to said pies, I'm fairly well insulated!

Went out early this morning to avoid the thunder. Was therefore unimpressed, three miles from home with an exposed ridge to cross, to see the sky turn black, it start hammering it with rain and several flashes of fork lightning :-/

Went out this morning in drizzle just in case it got worse and we've had bright blue skies all afternoon on the Fylde coast!

Just had a madness of thunder and lightening and swirling winds. Gone all blue and quiet now.

Jekkyl, yunki - I've always wondered why the boy with the aerial held high was shouting "come on thunder." Thunder is the sound, surely it was the lightening he was trying to attract with his aerial?

The cumulonimbus that went over Chippenham this afternoon, bringing torrential rain, lots of lightning and rain.
Taken about 3.30pm.

It is sunny now. But took its own sweet time about it.
