Went out early this morning to avoid the thunder. Was therefore unimpressed, three miles from home with an exposed ridge to cross, to see the sky turn black, it start hammering it with rain and several flashes of fork lightning :-/
My firstborn was riding back from Eyam in that lot, now got wall to wall blue skies.

Went out this morning in drizzle just in case it got worse and we've had bright blue skies all afternoon on the Fylde coast!
Just had a madness of thunder and lightening and swirling winds. Gone all blue and quiet now.
Jekkyl, yunki - I've always wondered why the boy with the aerial held high was shouting "come on thunder." Thunder is the sound, surely it was the lightening he was trying to attract with his aerial?
