I seem to remember that 'The Village' tv series got good reviews for series 1.
I know it's only a couple of episodes in but:
~ is series 2 shaping up to be good*?
~ does it matter that we haven't seen series 1?
(*good = interesting, engaging drama)

Series 1 was relentlessly depressing... haven't plucked up the courage to watch any of Series 2 yet. I expect I'll need a lot of kitten videos to get me through it.

I'm enjoying it.
Also liking the locations of Lyme park,Edale and Hayfield. Areas that i know very well.
Higgo - I think you'll recognise lots of our 'cheeky' riding spots.
