My wife, yesterday, noticed that some cars have yellow number plates while others had white ones, and wondered if you get to choose. Then got all upset when I pissed myself.
Later in the same journey she remarked on the preveance of crap personalised number plates, and commented 'look at that one, I can't even see what that's supposed to say'...'er, SD10 EYU darling'.
As an aside, I saw a Range Rover with A5 CFH go past..I wonder?
A friend from the US, on driving past the Trafford Centre back when it was being built, looked at the domed roofs and commented, "it looks like they've alomst finished that big mosque now..."

I was watching one of the World Cup games a week or so ago and the wife said something along the lines of "I feel sorry for all those fans at the game who won't be able to hear the people talking with all the noise from those horns". What people I said, to which she replied "the people you hear talking about the games". Commentators, i asked. "yes, commentators. I'm having a blond moment because i couldn't think what they were called"

Does anyone remember the televisions series 'Walking with dinosaurs'?
I was watching it one evening with my brother and his girlfriend. A scene unfolded where an injured stegosaurus was lying down beside a lake, slowly dying from wounds sustained in some kind of dino ruck.
I heard a whimpering sound and turned to find my brother's girlfriend in tears. Asking her what the matter was she replied, 'Why don't the camera crew go and help it?'
In the grand tabloid tradition, I made my excuses and left.....
