Unless your brother in law is trying to lease an Audi campervan from a crazy chinese lady in order to transport logs for your woodburner, which you need to heat the sudocreme for your cat, whilst you sit with your disco slipper clad feet up and sip a cup of chamomile tea to calm your nerves after having attacked a burglar with a set of suspension forks because he was trying to steal your supply of powerful laxatives, to fund his pilgrimage to the grave of Joe Cocker, then probably not.

Oh sorry, that's not what I meant. The Brexit thread is awful. I was just making sure Brexit got a mention on this thread too, so that no thread avoids Brexit.

I am not sure which impresses me more about perchy's response: that he thought about what he wrote so quickly, or that he was able to type it so fast.

Probably both.

Yeah but missed Backdoor to Centreparks parks, wifi wife, plugged bar end, allotment boundaries with Kylie on a Friday

so 5/10

Perchy is really very quick witted.

I wonder sometimes if he has multiple log ins, poses a question as one person then answers a witty retort in the same thread as another.. 🍯🍆

No Badger/Stan's, no baby robbins, no octoporn and no rainbows or unicorns.  Perchy covered so much and yet there is so much more.  Reminds me how entertaining this place used to be 😉

Give me a break....there are only so many memes and tropes that you can shoehorn into a single, continuous, narrative sentence.

I'm doing the best I can here.

I seem to remember the stalking gym girl thread kept up the mystery and anticipation because it lasted weeks. Plus (I think) it had lots of top tips from (was it?) Sir Hora.

Hora/'My Old Man'.

The Tune Association thread.

Something to do with Seagulling.

Describe an album cover.

Change a movie title.

I like the Arkose thread for the enthusiasm and respect shown by both the owners and the designer.

A couple of the depression threads changed my life.

Fred's architecture threads.

Too many to think of.

I sat in many a conference call s****ing to those threads..

Hey. This is all getting a bit sentimental.

For me Magnetodog was laugh out loud funny and still raises a smile. RIP Magnetodog never forgotten.

I also am quietly proud of the irony of the Chamomile tea meme which, whilst not as epic as Matt's Brexshit thread, exemplifies why some people just need to calm TF doon!

Surely the 'epic flounce by Surfmatt' thread has to be a contender: it was toe-curlingly awful watching someone declare their 'awesomeness' in such a gloriously self-destructive manner.

If that's the one I think it is, I think it's best forgotten.

Long ago there was a thread about tea making that I appreciated by how very self aware and meta it was. Plus Chipps replied to my comment about teasmaids and kept the analogy going wonderfully.

Might just be me cos it doesn't get mentioned as often as the ones above (or at all) but my favourite was McMoonter's "what do I do with these storm blown trees" one. Pretty much followed closely by every other thread McMoonter has started, ever.

Lots of amusing threads but my favourite which is still going strong is the "What is the last thing you made" 100% positive and inspiring.

Just using the unscientific 'what is the first one that springs to mind' method was the "You have taken my sport away from me" rant someone launched at Superstar Components.

Thirty-three tooth narrow/wide was a particular highlight for me too - and the fact that a few people were genuinely taken in by it for a bit.

I didn't see that film thread first time, but I preferred the one where you remove one letter from the title, give a synopsis and let people guess what it is.

I lol'ed at:

There's a ghostly papermill in the field at the end of my garden

and particularly

A really really horrid man from Monte Cristo.

What is the last thing you made, thread.

I know piss all about Brexit, or TM cricket, but I can whittle a spot of wood so it's nice to have a thread I can contribute to.

Really love seeing all that folks make. It's very inspiring.

Always love the weekly weekend riding pics threads too.

the one where you remove one letter from the title

http://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/think-of-a-film-remove-one-letter-from-the-title-describe-the-film

https://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/drop-a-letter-from-a-film-title-thread-resurrection/

They get annoying towards the end when the repeats come thick and fast!

The Wife signal

Magnetodog

Sudocrem Cat

Keyrings that smell of mint

I can't find it,but way back ,essel (of gruntfuttock fame) posted a photo from a sea fishing trip asking what people thought this object out at sea could be.

Some of Jamie's photoshop posts were coffeeoverkeboardtastic.
