I chose Buxton Spring water in Tesco today over Highland spring.

Junky, I have a collection of old dictionaries, that is one, and the Ambrose Bierce is, of course, another! Have an excellent mid 1800s "Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue" as well!

I have a collection of old dictionaries

I wish I still had he little collins dictionary I used at school it was great for to-concise-to-be-useful definitions. It often just referred you on to another word - which then referred you back to the one you were looking up.

My favourites were:

Kidney. A bean shaped organ

followed by

Kidney Bean. A bean shaped like a kidney.
