Stealing an idea from the BBC website, what was the last picture you took on your phone before the lockdown was announced on the 23rd March? Can be of anything at all (preferably family friendly...). Mine was of a ride at Coed Y Brenin before the trees had started to turn green! I kind of knew it would be my last ride there for a while so made the most of it, I even still had the winter tyres and MudHugger on the bike.

What's yours?

Well, the day before lockdown was annuonced, I took this of my brother... I guess it's not the last normal photo though!

The photo before that is of my son's car, he'd just bought. Paying over £100 a month insurance and used for a coupe of weeks, then not able to drive it!

The day before lockdown, we went for a walk around Kenfennig to celebrate my birthday.

Nothing spectacular, just the field behind where we were camping. Somewhere in East Anglia I think.

Always intrigued by this stone, since it sits at the top of a 20 foot bank by a disused quarry and a railway line. It's very neatly carved, though.

Last dog walk before lockdown. Was announced a couple of hours later. Although it’s one of the things we’ve still been able to do all along 🙂

TBH, I was in quarantine prior to the 23rd March.

In which case, last normal was this on the 28th Feb

Last one from my phone (but not camera) was this

Taken on the night of 21st.  It was obvious what was coming so I was determined to get out for a bivvy before it did.

Mellow ride on the Saturday 21st, as I had landed on my finger 9 weeks earlier, had trouble gripping the MTB bars properly so had a gentle ride to try it out.

Today was the first time I've ridden some actual MTB trails since the 1st february!

The last one on mine is of a freshly resected right colon, cut open & turned inside out so I could get a picture of the very large tumour inside.

I'd post it but ......

Last one on the 22nd was my little one asleep which has been my screen saver ever since, and will be until I move back in.

Taken about 4hrs before the announcement, my wife's grave is the cross to the left of the white headstone. I was down in Gloucestershire to see her parents and decide on a headstone.
I think it will be more than a year since she died before I can get the headstone in place.
Though I am glad I could visit and sit by the grave and talk rubbish.

Oh man, that's a tough one. Thoughts are with you. She's under a beautiful sky there.

Here's mine - Saturday 21 March, about 26 miles northwest of my house:

EDIT - or maybe it isn't. You'll just have to imagine some hills and fields, with the Brecon Beacons in the distance.

I will try again. This was taken on the 23rd March. I think it represents a fair analogy of what was coming from the government at the same time

Over looking Lamba Ness, Unst, 12th March. A day later we were self-isolating as my wife was ill with suspected c19, but not tested despite being a keyworker.

We saw Frank Turner the night before in Bath and had a wander around Clifton. This was me meeting the rest of the family after buying the evening wine at Oddbins.
