You know the type...Always supping on a protein shake from a conspicuously "Look at me and my protein shake! I'm ripped! Grrrr!" bottle. Most keen on a tight t-shirt to make sure everyone has a ticket to the gun show.

However, why, oh why do they all spend seemingly every waking hour on teh gunzzzz and teh abzzz and then, the moment summer comes around and the shorts are brought out, everyone can see that they have legs that look weedier than a strand of overcooked spaghetti?

How much can you bench, braw?

I think it must be catching... never used to see many of these folks back in the day, but now they are everywhere.

Just hope I avoid catching it.

The warmer weather does bring out the muscle bound, but I find an excellent way of deflating them is to suggest that they look divine as I ride past. It seems to cause consternation, which is nice.

OP is obviously jealous of a mate with gunz.

Don't worry about it. Just put in a bit of effort.

Full body strong and lean > triangle man > weak all over > fat

If symmetry of muscles is your worst problem then it could be worse.

OP is right though. Loads more about, but they balance out the large amounts of obese individuals...

Full body strong and lean > triangle man > weak all over > fat

what is this?
what about full body strong and with a bit of lard to keep you warm in winter? where is that in the continuum? or is it just a continuum of vanity?

Agree that out of proportion legs do look a bit silly. Still, better than being a fatty though.

Apart from the jebends wearing silly caps, designer gear and massive white headphones in the gym, I always scratch my head at the fatties who turn up and just lift weights - a lad I know included. Maybe half an hour of cardio first might have a little more effect on how you actually look and feel?

Personally I like the guys in the gym who have a massive gut but do nothing but weights....then walk around the place like they do nothing but weights. 30 seconds cardio would induce a stroke..I live in hope.

Often the folk who have been going for years and have never changed their routine, as opposed to folk new to it and trying to lose weight.

I reckon it's because the mirrors in the gym don't go low enough to see
