Mrs Zip has been away so managed to watch all 3 series.
I'm going to say its the funniest thing that's ever been on telly.
(Just pipping Bottom)
So feel free to post your favourite bit. Mine would be the old dear in the nursing home catching Jay out.

Have to agree that the 3rd series didn't quite hit the mark, but the bollock moment was funny as

Second episode was my favourite, Simon in Carli's kitchen. Just the stuff Simon said to try to chat her up.

+1 for it being one of the funniest things on the tellybox in years

The brilliant thing about all the main characters is that we recognise so much of them in either ourselves or in our peers. It really is a contemporary trip down memory lane.

The bit when asking the ice cream vendor if she was the ........

and the phrase "Knee deep in clunge" might be from the movie that was good in parts.

Agree about the 3rd series...much as I love the puerile humour, perhaps it wanes somewhat after a while.

Funniest bit? This absolutely slayed me 😀

After Simon's tactical ****, he was struggling to rise to the occasion. The way he repeatedly assaulted his flaccid penis was hilarious. And he asked his girlfriend if she'd put the condom on with her bum. Fantastic.

so much of it hits so close to home. fingering some bird round the back of some club whilst everyone is watching... tick.

being so pissed/desperate you still cop-off with the bird who has been sick.... errr.... tick 😳

Oh and Jay 'riding' the motorbike

something very similar happened to me when on m´holiday with mates in Magaluf... sitting on our mopeds outside the rental shop we couldn't work out how to start the things. mate was sitting on his and twisting the grip when i pressed something and he suddenly went flying and smashed into my bike which fell over and hit two other bikes. needless to say the guy didn't let us take them out or give us our money back.... 🙂

will have to sit and watch it again when the weather turns...

The camping trip episode is great, as is Jay's attempt to ride the motorbike, the friend bit is great too.

Will's date with the tall girl, the associated jokes and him breaking up with her is great too.

The Fashion Show from series 3 has got to be one of the all time greats and along with Field Trip and Work Experience from series 2.

Im going to have to disagree with all of you

It is amusing and does have its moments but it just seems like a british copy of Amrican Pie

Just remembering that makes me laugh loudly.

I wanted to hate it but it was funny as.

but it just seems like a british copy of Amrican Pie

In the great tradition of observational comedy I disagree.

The only parallels were school-going to Uni scenario.

Lots of parts I identified with. Lots.

Im not hating on it, and I did enjoy it at first but it all seemed very familiar by the later series, and the film definitely had the feel of the gross out/morality tale/teen rom com format of so many other (american) films

greatest comedy ever!!?

Another great series that was sullied by a piss poor film. League of gentlemen and Stella street also had the same treatment

What's there to 'get'? Have I been missing out on the subtext of the Inbetweeners all this time?

For me, it's funny, but I wouldn't buy it.

First time I heard the jokes in s1&2 I laughed so hard.

But I don't find it lol funny on repeat, even though I use the lines all the time.

"Who brings a bag of shit to the pub?"

And

"A pint is a strange measurement..."

" Ah, Friend" is as much a part of my pop-culture conversation references as "TO me, TO you", the laurel & hardy theme and " Bob, that's a funny name for a girl".

^ the exam episode was the best.

Will... I shat myself. Meanwhile Jay is outside sobbing because he's been dumped 'because my dick was too big'

I could watch them over and over. I thought the film was great as well.

Doh. I was crestfallen with the League of Gents film
Same with their Christmas special.

Saying that Phoenix Nights = Genius. Anything else done by him? Tedious/painful.

There was a scene in one of the episodes when they had been nicking off school and drinking. The parents got them in a room and quizzed them about what they had been doing. Can't remember much but I remember nearly wetting myself with laughter.

Here are the top ten inbetweener quotes apparently

Love the inbetweeners I can watch them all over and over. I find the film brilliant too and can't wait for the next one. For me it is the funniest sitcom ever.

There is somebody that has already posted on here who my Mrs has only just stopped calling "internet friend" as I met him on here.

I don't think I can choose a favourite quote.

"I'll watch the kid while you get down to business"

I dismissed it for ages then gave in after much pestering from the wife, couldn't get enough of it. So funny!

Sleeping beauty. Which wasn't funny, as we all already know about it. Trying to close the lid on the laptop with his hand asleep, was superb.

Anyone watching the episode on E4 at the moment, bloody brilliant. Some great lines.

Talking dirty to his girlfriend, the car journey, J's 'dutch girls are the dirtiest because one shat down my arm'....
