I've worked on a few UKEF-backed financings - this is completely within the remit of what the fund what set up for. Whether it's green or not depends on your viewpoint, greener than a massive drilling operation, obviously less green than solar/wind/hydro.

Its greener than coal I suppose.
I suppose the problem is someone will get the contract to extract that gas, may as well be a british company.
