So UK will want to remain in the single market as part of the "good deal". What happens when Europe says "you can stay in the single market on condition you accept freedom of people movement"... then all the UKIP and Boris voters won and lost in the same foul swoop... Bumed out of Europe and immigration stays the same or increases as others join the EU.
We could follow Switzerland's lead and get access to the common market in return for allowing freedom of movement / labour [i]and[/i] paying a big wedge into the Eu coffers 🙂 that way they can keep the promise farage that they've made to not pay money into the nhs
Freedom of movement WILL be part of any agreements made with future trading partners, and it'll cost lots and lots to get into those agreements.
