A few weeks ago a mate of mine decided to try and beat the record for the Frog Graham which is running/swimming challenge in the lakes. Obviously based on the Bob Graham.

Anyway, every year I try and get a movie into the Kendal mountain Film Festival.

This is this years attempt, what do you think? (link Below)

Yeah enjoyed that.... Some lovely shots towards the end, (although I'm no cinematic connoisseur) along the top of cat bells ?  and the swimming in Derwant water.

Would have liked a brief summary of the times of each section, especially the swimming legs.

Good luck .... with getting it into the fest

Nicely put together.

I gather that Dan was quite glad he took the wetsuit in the end for the Derwen****er swim!

Loved it. Especially the last tracking shot with the silhouette against the sun.  The FG has been on my to do list for a while, now's it's definitely on the 2019 list.

Thanks for sharing.

That's a lovely film, I watched it a couple of weeks ago and saw it again just now on a quick forum search for 'swim'. I've recently restarted swimming and really enjoying it. Wetsuit has made all the difference to someone innately chicken about cold water. Thinking a FGR may be just the thing for a daft challenge after deciding the BGR was a bit keen 🙂

Good luck with the film!

I didn't know about the Frog Graham. The video is really good and I hope it makes it at Kendal Mountain Festival.
